After some conjecture earlier this week surrounding the re-release of some older PS2 Star Wars games, Sony has come out and confirmed that PS2 games are coming to the PS4 courtesy of emulation. “We are working on utilizing PS2 emulation technology to bring PS2 games forward to the current generation,” Sony told Wired. “We have nothing further to comment at this point in time.” Not very communicative, but then, that’s par for the course with Sony and PS2 games on the PS4. While Sony doesn’t have anything further to say officially, Digital Foundryhas taken a look at the Star Wars games in question—collected in a bundle that includes Super Star Wars, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter, Star Wars: Racer Revenge and Star Wars: Bounty Hunter—and put the emulation through its paces. You can check out their findings—and some comparison screenshots—here. _________________ TheOmegaNerd features and promotes video game fan art, concept art, news, screenshots, trailers, and other related content.
